In stunning places, in magical spaces… Mornings begin with meditation and practice. Days are full of thorough study of the Yoga postures, philosophy, methodology and more, taught by experts in their fields. Evenings conclude with practice and self-reflection. Healthy, delicious meals are prepared onsite, with love.

— Anna Sugarman, Teacher/Founder… Anna loves sharing her passion for spiritual balance and devotes herself to exploring this, both as a teacher and a student. Since 1998, she has studied with renowned teachers worldwide, all of whom have shaped her own practice and teaching approach.
After much anatomy-centric training in the United States, Anna obtained her 500 hour certification in the Himalayas, from a duo of gurus – a doctorate of spiritual philosophy and a doctor of Ayurvedic and Western medicine. Enamored with the vibrant energy of India, there she studied spiritual philosophy and Eastern medicine, whilst instructing intensive Yoga teacher training courses.
During philosophical Yin classes, Anna’s captivating voice invokes peace and rejuvenation; whilst her laughter-packed, Ashtanga-based flows culminate in blissful vinyasa fun, focusing on strength, mindfulness and grace.
Teacher training with Anna is a healing experience, snuggled in intuitive compassion, during which she guides students to create their own practice, whilst motivating heightened physical awareness, spiritual consciousness and heart opening. Integrating appropriate anatomical alignment, challenging sequences and intelligent transitions with creativity, enthusiasm and joy, it’s been said that Anna “plays yoga.”
— Jason Milne, Philosophy Teacher… Jason was first introduced to yoga as a way to relieve chronic low-back pain. After experiencing the tremendous physical benefits of practicing yoga Jason immersed himself in the study and teaching of the spiritual and esoteric aspects of the science of yoga. He has been practicing yoga for fifteen years and he has been teaching yoga professionally for over ten years. With comprehensive training in various lineages, three 500 hour certifications and dedication to continued study of the subject of yoga, Jason brings his wealth of knowledge in both theory and practice of Hatha Yoga, Tantra Yoga and Yoga Therapy to this course. Jason is a registered E-RYT 500 yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance.

Over a decade later, she has travelled with her yoga practice to over 38 countries, exploring different styles and teachers in all four corners of the globe and she has successfully married her physiotherapy knowledge and clinical experience with her thirst for everything yoga to teach the anatomy and physiology modules at international yoga teacher trainings. Eliza teaches a preventative, healing, and nurturing yet fun style of yoga presented with a combination of intellectual rigor, humor, and demonstration.
