BEGINNER’S YOGA PROGRAM

The Yoga for Beginners program has been developed for those new to yoga or who want to get back to yoga after having a long break. Our teachers will guide you through basic sequences of poses, giving variations so that you can challenge yourself if you want to. The beginner yoga program is available in a variety of yoga styles, including Vikasa, Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Acro. You’ll start with an initial introductory consultation, where we talk about any limitations you might have, your expectations and based on that set personal goals. According to your needs and unique circumstances, your personal program is then developed. These are tailor-made and use a unique mix of activities that help you to experience the yogic lifestyle for the first time, including private yoga sessions, additional yoga classes should you need them, and group meditation classes. All of this is nurtured with a delicious but healthy balanced diet from our Life Café in the peaceful environment offered at Vikasa Yoga.

GOALS

  • 09:00 am – 10:15 am: Private anti-stress session with Bettina.
  • 10:30 am – 11:30 am: Healthy brunch buffet at Vikasa Life Café.
  • 11:30 am – 01:00 pm: Free time: enjoy and relax by the pool.
  • 01:00 pm – 02:00 pm: Massage treatment at Vikasa spa.
  • 02:00 pm – 04:00 pm: Free time, additional coaching or acupuncture session.
  • 04:00 pm – 05:15 pm: Private anti-stress session with Bettina.
  • 06:00 pm – 07:15 pm: Yoga (optional).

TEACHER

This program it will be lead by one of Vikasa’s resident teachers. An appropriate teacher will be selected for your beginner yoga program depending on availability and your personal goals.
