Chillout Retreats invite you to join in as they celebrate their 10th anniversary with a week of pure bliss! Since 2009 this ethically run family team have been offering the opportunity to relax, restore and chillout in some of the most breath taking, inspiring and special places around the globe.
Each day on this epic retreat will provide a range of yoga classes to suit many abilities with styles ranging from vinyasa and yoga flow to Hatha and yogalates. Mindfulness meditations to calm and focus the mind, a couple of excursions to explore the beautiful Koh Samui temples and waterfalls…a perfect opportunity to develop your yoga and wellbeing practices with a strong element of fun and active rest. Our philosophy is that ‘wellness starts from within’ and we will help you on that journey.

    – Daily 90 minute yoga and meditation classes in the morning and evening.

Natalie Smit-Ash

Natalie Smit-Ash, is the founder and director of Chillout Retreats and has practiced yoga for over 25 years, is a hatha yoga and yogalates teacher, fully qualified Holistic Therapist & Reiki Master/Teacher. She has over 15 years of qualification, expertise and experience in the field of Complementary Health. Natalie was born into a family of complementary therapists with her grandfather practicing conventional medicine alongside acupuncture and Reiki with the Native American Indians in North America. Natalie has completed massage training in Thailand, practiced yoga in India and expanded her knowledge of Aromatherapy and Reflexology in Australia and China. Natalie designs and teaches Chillout retreats and collaborates with international spas, venues and companies including Champneys UK.

Melanie Smithson

MellyMel Smithson (Natalie’s Chillout sister) offers a holistic approach to Yoga teaching, by positively encouraging her students to develop their own expressive and unique style of movement. Her training in acting,  dance and music brings an exciting and expressive quality to her style of teaching. As well as teaching yoga Mel also offers private consultations based on Yogic and Ayuvedic principles. Mel teaches SUP yoga – yoga on stand up paddle boards.

Deborah Curran

Deborah is a highly qualified and experienced Senior Yoga Teacher,  registered with Yoga Alliance Professionals uk and is a member of the Iyengar Association and the British Wheel of Yoga. She has been practicing yoga for over 23 years and has been teaching for  more than 14 years. Deborah’s background is in the Iyengar yoga tradition which is a discipline that focuses on correct alignment and precision in the poses. After achieving five levels of Iyengar Yoga Teacher Training Certification (Introductory 1 & 2 and Intermediate levels 1,2 & 3) Deborah then went on to expand her knowledge further by exploring other styles of yoga including Hatha, Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow. She has also completed courses in Mindfulness, Meditation and Practical Philosophy which she continues to practice and study to date.

Day 1:

Arrival day – Relax, restore and unwind

Day 2:
07.30 – 9.00  – Dynamic yoga or yogalates
09.30 – 10.30 – Brunch
11.00 – 16.30 – Free time for excursions, explorations, rest or play
17.00 – 18.30 – Restorative, calming and mindful yoga & meditation
19.30 – 21.00 – Dinner
