Yoga classes are offered everyday at 9am, 6pm and sometimes 4pm. These classes vary in a range of styles including Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Power Yoga, Yin Yoga, and sometimes?Acro Yoga. The classes vary in level. Vikasa offers a free, guided meditation every morning from 8am – 9am. It’s a great way to experience different kinds of meditation techniques. Many people like to come for the mediation at 8 and stay for the yoga class at 9. Its a perfect two hour start to your day. After yoga, at 10am you can join for a community healthy buffet brunch.Its a great way to make friends and meet people who are also interested in yoga and healthy living. The Evolution of Yoga

Vikasa means evolution, or spiritual development, when translated from Sanskrit. The concept of “evolution of yoga” is based on the notion that everything in the world evolves constantly, including human beings. Our primary goal as a human race and that of any living organism is evolution, and yoga can be seen as a tool to facilitate such evolution in any given individual.

However, as the practice of yoga itself changes with time and place, as new techniques are being introduced, as the approach is becoming more technical, precise and scientific – any definition of it as a system or style seems to be a limitation in itself. While the breath is the fundamental medium for cultivating prana, pranayama is more than a set of breathing practices.
