5 Morning & afternoon sessions: A mix of 10% theory and 90% practice
We work on all layers of your being: yoga for the body, pranayama breath work to bridge between brain and body, and finally meditation to train and control the monkey mind. You will learn and experience the benefits of all techniques.
1 Hour Reiki session with Amodini
Reiki is a Japanese healing method. This session will help you to better understand your key issues, so we can identify the best practice for you!
2 Evening group sessions
Lectures and group activity to integrate your learning. The small group (maximum of 10 people) ensures space for questions and personal advice.
Plenty of time to relax, have a massage or add a private session to enhance your experience.
Bettina Maul “Amodini”
Bettina has studied and practiced Yoga for over thirteen years in many diverse styles and unique settings throughout Asia, Europe, and India.
The name Amodini was given to her while she was studying and training in India by one of her most influential teachers. Amodini is a Sanskrit word which translates to one who brings happiness and joy. This name is a true representation of Bettina’s natural essence and a main goal in all her offerings and teachings.
In addition to physical yoga practice, Bettina is also deeply passionate about Meditation and has cultivated a long standing, strong individual practice. She has attended and served at several Vipassana silent-meditation courses lead by S.N. Goenka in Malaysia, Nepal, and Singapore. As an effort to keep increasing her knowledge and continued practice of mindfulness meditation she also attends regular Buddhism retreats in monasteries and global centres. She has been fortunate to guest teach at Mahabondhi International Yoga and Meditation Center in Leh, Ladakh, India.
As a certified Reiki Master and teacher, her Yoga and Meditation offerings are deeply influenced by her experience with Reiki and energy healing. Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.
Bettina comes from an extensive business marketing background with over fifteen years experience working in the corporate sector. Based on her own professional career experience she understands firsthand how important it is to integrate Yoga into your daily demanding lifestyle. She believes that Yoga, Pranayama (breath work) and Meditation can be effective tools to better cope with the pressure of strenuous workloads and personal issues. Learning how to work with and utilize these tools can help to increase concentration, decrease anxiety and depression, and cultivate personal mindfulness.
Based on her experience and knowledge gained during her own life journey, Betti firmly believes Yoga can be first step to changing your life. It helps to increase awareness, enables one to find their true nature and unique path to living a holistic, healthy, happy life. It is an essential tool in her own life and she is deeply passionate about sharing its tremendous benefits with others.
